Getting paid (payouts)
How does profit actually reach my bank?
The Apex 2026 payout rules
This is the reference structure Helm carries for Apex's 2026 payout model (last verified 2026-07-09 — the older 4.0 ladder with its $25K/90-10 split is retired). It is dated on purpose — Apex changes its terms, so confirm before you rely on any figure.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Qualifying days per payout | 5 ($200+/day Intraday PA, $250+/day EOD PA) |
| Minimum withdrawal | $500 |
| Profit split | 100% to you |
| Payout cap | 6 payouts per PA, each capped ($1,500 rising to $3,000) — then the PA closes |
| Safety-net floor | starting balance + drawdown + $100 ($52,100 on the 50K) |
| Consistency rule | No single day ≥ 50% of profit since your last approved payout |

A PA is not a forever account: after six approved payouts it closes and you qualify again with a fresh evaluation. Plan the economics around cycles — an account is a season, not a career.
The consistency rule — the one that surprises people
When you request a payout, no single trading day may account for 50% or more of your profit since the last approved payout. It exists to prove you're a repeatable trader, not someone who got lucky once.
You're up $4,000 total, but $2,500 of it came on one heroic Tuesday. That day is 62.5% of your profit — over the 50% line — so you can't withdraw yet. You'd need more green days to dilute Tuesday's share below half before the payout clears.
Helm's consistency score (on your Roadmap) mirrors Apex's 50% rule and caps itself when one day dominates your profit — so you see the gate coming instead of hitting it at withdrawal time.
A payout, start to finish
- 1Bank 5 qualifying days
Trade the PA to five qualifying green days ($200+/day Intraday, $250+/day EOD) — required for every payout, not just the first.
- 2Keep any single day under half
Spread the profit so no one day is ≥ 50% of profit since your last approved payout (the consistency rule).
- 3Stay above the safety net
Your balance must sit above the safety-net floor ($52,100 on the 50K; $52,600 to request) — you can only withdraw genuine profit above it.
- 4Request ≥ $500
Withdraw at least the minimum; 100% of an approved payout is yours, up to that payout's cap — and remember the account closes after its sixth payout.
Payouts reward the boring trader: many small, similar green days beat one spectacular one, every time.
- Every payout needs 5 qualifying days and a $500 minimum; 100% of an approved payout is yours, up to its cap.
- A PA allows six payouts, then closes — plan in cycles. The consistency rule blocks a payout when one day is ≥50% of profit since the last one.
- These figures are dated (Apex 2026 product, verified 2026-07-09) — always confirm current terms on Apex.
