Why is so much free?
The journal, analytics, roadmap, and full Education library cost us almost nothing to run — and they're how you build discipline before you're funded. We only charge for the live AI coaching, which makes a real (paid) model call every time it looks at your chart.
What exactly does Pro unlock?
Unlimited Live Observe — you share your chart window once and Helm samples frames on your cadence and coaches you in real time — plus unlimited AI session reviews, screenshot-to-trade import, and coaching powered by our most capable AI model (Claude Opus, claude-opus-4-8). The Free plan includes 60 coach-minutes a month — each observed frame costs its capture interval, a review five minutes — about a full observed hour, so you can feel a real session first.
Which AI model does my plan use?
We list it rather than hide it: Free runs Claude Haiku (claude-haiku-4-5), a fast, budget-tier model that reads charts well. Chart frames run Claude Haiku on every plan — it transcribes charts accurately and keeps live observation affordable — while Pro's coaching (session reviews and live asks) is powered by Claude Opus (claude-opus-4-8), the most capable model we can buy, where judgment actually matters. Every analysis records the exact model that produced it on your session timeline.
Do I get charged more the more I use it?
No. Pro is a flat $99/mo — there's no meter. A discipline tool should never make you hesitate to let it watch. We recommend a 60–120s capture cadence, which keeps things smooth; you can tune it in Settings.
How does Helm sit next to my chart?
Through the Helm Chrome widget — add it here. On a TradingView chart it shows a small status pill on the chart and puts the coach in a side panel, so nothing has to share a window and no tab has to stay open. It's included on every plan, Free too, and it observes only after you click it — same read-only guarantees as everything else here. Prefer not to install anything? Sharing a chart window from the dashboard does the same job.
Does Helm ever place trades?
Never. Helm is read-only by design — it observes, analyzes, coaches, and journals. It has no broker connection and no order path, and no plan or price changes that. Every decision is yours.
