Privacy policy

Your Google account identity, through Firebase Authentication — your email address and Google account id. The screen frames of the window or chart tab you choose to share during a Live Observe session — in the browser that is the window you pick in the share dialog; in the Chrome extension it is the one TradingView chart tab you attach by clicking the Helm toolbar icon. And the trades, notes, and settings you enter yourself. Nothing about your trading is captured beyond what you deliberately share.

Cookies and advertising measurement. Helm's public marketing pages carry the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which sets cookies in your browser (‘_fbp’, ‘_fbc’) so Meta can tell that someone who saw a Helm ad reached the site. That measurement covers the public pages only — it never sees your charts, your trades, or anything inside your session. Page views are counted by a self-hosted Plausible install that uses no cookies and builds no profile of you. Blocking third-party cookies or using an ad blocker stops the pixel and changes nothing about how Helm works.

Shared frames are downscaled, uploaded, and analyzed by a vision model to produce a chart read — the trend, support, and resistance you see in the session timeline. Trades and notes are stored so the coach can reference them in review. How long frames are retained depends on your configuration; see retention below.

The Helm extension observes only when you start it: capture requires your click on the Helm toolbar icon while on a TradingView chart tab — it cannot start on its own — and Chrome shows its capture indicator on that tab the entire time. Still frames of that one tab are uploaded and analyzed exactly like browser-shared frames (same pipeline, same retention rules). The extension reads nothing from the page, injects nothing beyond its own status widget, holds no password (your signed-in Helm session lends it short-lived tokens), and captures nothing — other tabs, other windows, other apps — beyond the chart tab you attached. Stopping is one switch on the widget, one button in the panel, or closing the tab.

We never sell your data. We never trade on it — Helm has no execution path. And we never share it with a broker. The read-only promise is a data promise too. The one exception worth naming plainly: the advertising pixel described above tells Meta that a browser reached a Helm marketing page, which some privacy laws classify as “sharing” even though no money changes hands and nothing about your trading is included.

Frame retention depends on your configuration — retention can be disabled so frames are analyzed and discarded, or enabled so sessions can be replayed later. Trades and notes you enter persist until you delete them or close your account.

You can delete your data at any time, yourself, from Settings — it removes your account, your stored frames, your trades and notes, and your sign-in identity, immediately and permanently.
